Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has released an Official Employment Notification for The Recruitment of 03 Junior Legislative Counsel, Under Secretary and Legal Assistant Posts under the Legislative Department and Judicial Department, Government of Assam. Scale of Pay: Pay scale: Rs.30,000/- to 1,10,000/- and Grade Pay: Rs.12,700/-.

Age Limit: Minimum 21 Years and Maximum 38 Years as on 01-01-2024.

Age Relaxation:

SC: 5 Years. ST: 5 Years. OBC / MOBC: 3 Years. PwBD: 10 Years. For More Details Please Read The Official Notification

Educational Qualification:

(i) A candidate must be an advocate enrolled under the Advocate's Act, 1961 who has been practising as such for at least 3 years. Or (ii) A Judicial officer of at least 3 (three) years standing. Or (iii) A Chief Language Officer of the Legislative Department holding a Degree in Law and having 3 (three) year experience as such officer or with 2 (two) years experience as such officer if he has previous experience as an Advocate for at least 3 (three) years. Or (iv) A Language Officer of the Legislative Department holding a Degree in Law and having 5 (five) years experience as such officer or 2 (two) years experience as such Language Officer if he has previous experience as an Advocate for at least 4 (four) years.

Other Criteria of APSC Recruitment 2024.

Citizenship: Candidates must be Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.

Residenship:

(i) The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.

(ii) The candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose/ Employment Exchange Registration certificate as proof of residency along with the application form.

Candidates must be registered themselves in any of the employment exchanges of Assam.

Small Family Norms:The candidates have to submit a declaration regarding “The Small Family Norms” in Form-A at the time of applying for the post.
