Dima Hasao Assistant Teacher Recruitment 2024 Vacancy & Eligibility Details

Name of Posts: Asstt. Teacher.

Pay: Pay Band-2 (PB-2) @ Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 70,000/- plus Grade Pay and other allowances as admissible as per "The Assam Service (Revision of Pay) (Amendment) Rules, 2019

Eligibility:

Candidates must have passed the ATET/CTET/STET for Lower Primary School. Candidate with minimum qualification with at least 50% marks in Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent). Candidate must also have a 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

Age Limit: Minimum 18 Years & Maximum 40 Yeras as on 1st January, 2024.

Age Relaxation:

Ex-Servicemen: 2 years. OBC/MOBC: 3 years. SC/ST: 5 Years. PwD: 10 years.

Conditions of Requirement:

1. The N.C. Hills Autonomous Council, Haflong reserves the right to cancel or postpone the recruitment at any state without assigning any reason thereof.
2. Candidate who have passed the ATET/CTET/STET for Lower Primary School will be eligible for applying.
3. Candidate with minimum qualification with at least 50% marks in Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) will be eligible for applying.
4. Candidate must also have a 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
5. A candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years for unreserved category, 42 years for Ex-Servicemen, 43 years for OBC/MOBC and 45 years for SC/ST(P)/ST(H) and 50 years for Persons with Disability (PwD), as on 01 January, 2024.
6. The Candidates must ensure genuineness of all the information/documents submitted and he/ she will be solely responsible for the information/ documents provided in his/her application as well as document submitted at the time of document verification (if any). Any discrepancy/misrepresentation of facts/ information will lead to cancellation of the candidature.
7. The Candidature will be cancelled forthwith, if any kind of fraudulence/ discrepancy/misrepresentation of facts/ submitted by the candidate is detected by appropriate authority at any point of time. Legal action will also be initiated against such candidate.
8. The regular teachers already working in L.P. Schools under the administrative control of N.C Hills Autonomous Council, Haflong are not allowed to apply in the post.
9. The list of eligible candidates for Viva voice/ Oral Interview will be notified on 30/08/2024 in the notice board of the office District Primary Education Officer, N.C.H.A.C., Haflong, in which call cards/ admit card for Viva Voice/Oral Interview will also be issued.

Interested candidates shall have to fill up the Standard Form of Application (Assam Gazette Part-IX) neatly and legibly and submit with the following documents. (Incomplete forms shall be summarily rejected).

Documents required are:

2 (Two) copies of recent passport size coloured photograph duly self-attested. HSLC admit card or Birth certificate for age proof. Copies of Mark sheet and Pass certificate of Educational Qualification of HSLC and Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent). Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET)/ Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)/ Special Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) qualified mark sheet. Certificate of 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). Caste Certificate (wherever applicable). Permanent Residential Certificate of Dima Hasao District. Latest Renewed Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.

Note:

Candidate not fulfilling requisite minimum qualification shall be summarily rejected. Local Candidates shall be given preferences as per Govt. circular No. HAD.110/86/24 Dtd: 27/08/1987.
