Meghalaya Home Guard Recruitment Details 2024.

The Government of Meghalaya has released an official employment notification for the recruitment of 4 vacancies in the rank of Sub-Inspectors, 284 vacancies in the rank of Guardsman and equivalent ranks, 17 vacancies of Drivers, 140 vacancies of Non Combatant Employees(NCE), in the Civil Defence & Home Guards Organisation. The vacancies in Sl. No. (ii), (iii) & (iv) will be filled from those who are trained Home Guards / Civil Defence Volunteers. These vacancies will be filled up as per Reservation Policy of the State. Selected Candidates will have to serve anywhere in the state of Meghalaya after successfully completing the Basic Training of 9 (nine) months duration, extendable at the discretion of the undersigned. Candidates who fail to pass the Basic Training and who perform unsatisfactorily will be summarily discharged from service.

Application form will be available with effect from 1st of April, 2024 onwards through Offices of The DISTRICT HOME GUARDS COMMANDANT SHILLONG/ JOWAI /TURA, DISTRICT TRAINING CENTERS NONGSTOIN/ MAWKYRWAT, NONGPOH, WILLIAMNAGAR, RESUBELPARA, BAGHMARA, AMPATI AND CENTRAL TRAINING INSTITUTE, CIVIL DEFENCE & HOME GUARDS, MAWDIANGDIANG, SHILLONG, on payment of Rs.50/- (Rupees fifty rupees) only.
