Indian Air Force Invites Unmarried Indian Male & Female Candidates to appear in Recruitment Rally From 03 July 2024 to 12th July 2024 at 3 ASC C/O Air Force Station, Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh) and 7 SC, No. 1 Cubbon Road, Bengaluru (Karanataka) to Join The IAF as Agniveervayu (Musician) intake 01/25.

Name of Posts: Agniveervayu (Musician)
Marital Status and Date of Birth: Candidate should be unmarried and born between 02 January 2004 and 02 July 2007 (both dates inclusive).
Educational Qualification: Passed Matriculation/ 10th or equivalent with minimum pass marks from any Govt recognized School/ Board.
Music Ability:
(i) Cardidates must have proficiency in music with accuracy in tempo, pitch and singing one complete song. They should be able to perform one preparatory tune and any of the notations i.e. Staff notation/ Tablature/ Tonic Solfa/ Hindustani/ Carnatic etc. Candidates must be able to tune individual instruments (in case of instruments require tuning) and match unknown notes on vocal or instruments.
(ii) Candidates must have proficiency in playing any one instrument from the List A or B.

5. All Indian Classical Instruments.
(iii) It is desirable that the candidates have proficiency in playing two instruments (one each from list A & B above)
Musical Experience Certificate: Candidates should have any one of the following experience certificate:
(i)Grade 5th or equivalent or above in one instrument from a recognized music institute such as TCL or RSM, KM Music Conservatory, Bangalore School of Music, TSM, GMI, Berklee School of Music etc.
(ii) Diploma or equivalent in the field of music for candidates performing Hindustani or Carnatic Classical Music from any recognized University
OR
(lii) Certificate of participation/ awards presented at various events. For such candidates performance/ playing of blowing instruments with staff notation as mentioned in Educational QRs.
Mandatory Medical Standard: General Medical Standards for Agniveervayu Male & Female candidates are as follows:-
(a) Height:
(i) For Male Candidates: Minimum acceptable height is 162 cms.
(ii) For Female Candidates: Minimum acceptable height is 152 cms. For candidates belonging to North East or hilly regions of Uttarakhand, a lower minimum height of 147 cms will be accepted. In case of candidates from Lakshadweep, the minimum height will be 150 cms.
Note: Candidates availing height relaxation for being domicile of North East/Hilly Regions of Uttarakhand/Lakshadweep are to submit domicile certificate with endorsement of domicile status at the time of Recruitment Rally. Further, candidates from hilly regions of Uttarakhand must have specific endorsement of hilly region in their domicile certificate.
(b) Weight: Weight should be proportionate to height and age as applicable for IAF.
(c) Chest:
(i) For Male Candidates: The chest wall should be well proportioned and well developed. Minimum chest circumference should be 77 cms and the chest expansion should be at least 05 cms.
(ii) For Female Candiadtes: The chest wall should be well proportioned and well developed with the minimum range of expansion of 05 cms.
(d) Hearing: Candidate should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters by each ear separately.
(e) Dental: Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.
(f) Visual Standard:
Visual Acuity 6/12 each eye, correctable to 6/6 each eye.
Maximum limits of Refractive error Hypermetropia: +2.0D Myopia: 1D Including ± 0.50 D Astigmatism.
Colour Vision CP-II
Note: Candidates should bring latest prescription (not older than one month) and spectacles for corrected vision, if used. The prescription must bear the diopter measurement, name, signature, stamp and registration number of Ophthalmologist. Date of prescription should be within a month prior to appearing for medical examination.
Time & Date of Rally: Registration for the rally will start at 1100 hrs on 22 May 2024 and will close at 2300 hrs on 05 June 2024 on webportal https://agnipathvayu.cdac.in. Only registered candidates issued with Provisional Admit Card are allowed to appear in the Recruitment Rally as per the date, time and venue mentioned in the Provisional Admit Card. Registration fee of Rs 100/-plus GST is to be paid by the candidate.
