Educational Qualification

MBBS MD/MS or equivalent DM/M.Ch. or equivalent B.SC./M.Sc./Ph.D. as applicable BDS MDS or equivalent

In case of those who are holding DNB in broad specialties or super specialty as qualifying education, they have to produce documentary evidence issued by Competent/Appropriate authority about DNB equivalence with MD/MS/DM/M.Ch/MDS; Applicants holding DNB in broad specialties or super specialties as their essential qualifying education must provide documentary evidence of its equivalence with MD/MS/DM/M.Ch.; as applicable This evidence must meet the following criteria as per NMC New Delhi notification dated 14.02.2022

DNB training should had been done in a medical institution with an attached hospital or in a hospital with 500 or more beds by the National Board of Examinations.
OR
Candidate has done one year of senior residency in a medical college or institution recognized by NMC as teaching institution for that specialty / superspecialty after passing DNB in the concerned specialty / super-specialty (In all cases where DNB training was done in a hospital with less than 500 beds) Candidates with essential qualification being DNB will be eligible if one is meeting either of the above conditions.

Experience Certificate

Certificate showing that possessed the requisite number of years of teaching and/or research experience on last date of online application as prescribed for each post, from MCI/DCI/UGC recognized Institution(s) as per the following terms:

Teaching/Research experience acquired only after post graduate qualification in the specialty will be considered. Those who have DNB as qualifying degree will need to have 1 year extra experience i.e. total 4 years from MCI recognized/permitted institution for equivalence if the bed strength of medical institution with attached hospital or hospital granted DNB is less than five hundred (500). Teaching experience which will be eligible to be counted for this purpose will be in the concerned specialty from MCI/DCI recognized medical college(in cases where MCI/DCI recognition is from a particular year, experience prior to that will not be considered). Like wise Post Graduate experience in any institution which awards MCI recognized PG degree in the specialty will only be considered valid.

Candidates are requested to make sure that have post PG experience which is as per the Recruitment Rules, issued by Head(s) of the Organisation / Administration and bring supportive documents(including document from MCI/DCI, if need be) for the same.
